We are on a break!

Many years ago, a journey began, one that was filled with love and passion since the beginning. It commenced by chance but continued by choice. Over time, the bonding only grew stronger, fulfilling dreams and opening new doors for us.

We have had a good run. But now, it is time for a break!

We, Pubali and Indranil, are taking a break from our corporate careers in Data Science.

It was not an easy decision for us. Since we graduated from university, neither of us have ever lived without the cushion of corporate jobs and the perks that come with them. Neither did we ever hate our career choices. We still have as much love and passion for Data Science as we had when this journey began in college.

Then, why are we doing this? The short answer is, because we wanted to!

Years of perseverance and planning later, here we are. Despite the uncertainties the future holds, we are allowing ourselves this break. During this time, we wish to dedicate more time and effort to 4 things that we hold close to our hearts but could not always make enough time for earlier.

1. India visits for longer periods
2. Full-time slow travel
3. Paradise Catchers
4. Mindful living

So, we are now all set to let go of any safety net and plunge into a world of possibilities.

Will this turn out to be a rash decision or a calculated risk? We do not know but we will find out!

How do we feel about this big life decision? Nervous, excited and surprisingly, calm.
